Dunedin gets the best of both worlds.
Within a short drive of the city you can access breaks with a swell window from north, to east, and right through to south west. Consistent south and south westerly swells from the southern ocean feed the southern facing breaks. Then theres the more inconsistent north and east facing breaks...
